Nokia N8 Review
Nokia had announced the N8 – the new Symbian flagship phone quite some time back. The guys at Mobile-Review managed to get their hands on an early prototype. Nokia desperately needs a hit to compete with the iPhone and Android phones. The Nokia N8 (Vasco) comes with the Symbian 3 OS. The interface is very similar to S60 5th edition.
The Nokia N8 doesn’t really bring anything new to the table. It has a nice design with the 3.5 inch touchscreen (supposedly capacitive) display taking up most of the front face.
It boasts of a 12 MP camera with AF and flash. The image capture quality is very good. It can also record video in 720p. Other than that, it sports just the usual features. There is no compelling reason to go for this phone; you can find better phones in the same budget. The Symbian ^ 3 OS is its greatest weakness, Android running on the same hardware would have been a much better option.
