Design:

The design of the Kin Two is in line with other QWERTY touchscreen sliders. It has a 3.4 inch capacitive touchscreen TFT display and a spacious keyboard with optimum key spacing. However the bigger size necessitates the use of both hands. The build quality of both the Kin One and Kin Two is similar.
OS and UI:
The Kin Two, like the Kin One, sports an OS based on Windows Phone 7 with a tiled interface. It has support for major social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Myspace built right in. You can check out each friend’s activity on these networks directly on the phone. You can share updates, images etc on any of the aforementioned social networks by simply dragging and dropping it on the Spot. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. It has a built in IE based multitouch enabled browser which is actually pretty decent, though not as good as Mobile Safari or the Android Webkit browser.
Multimedia:
The Kin Two also sports the Zune Media interface which allows you to access music, videos etc. The major improvement of the Kin Two over the Kin One is the 8 MP camera with autofocus and flash. It takes images at a maximum resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels and offers superb image capture quality. It also offers other features like geotagging, face and smile detection.

It supports all the standard connectivity features – GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1. It also has A-GPS and FM Radio. It is powered by a Li-Ion 1390 mAh battery.
