Micromax Q5fb Ezpad Review

Micromax is one of the best Indian mobile manufacturers. It recently launched the Micromax Q5 which is one of the most affordable QWERTY phones available. It is available for around Rs. 4,000 ($90). It comes with the battery, charger, handsfree and the user manuals.

Design:

The Micromax Q5 has a nice design with good build quality. It has a 2.2 inch TFT display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Above the QWERTY keypad, you also have a trackball for easy navigation.

Multimedia:

The Micromax Q5 has a built in music player which plays MP3, AMR, WAV and MIDI files. The video player can play 3GP files. It also has a stereo FM radio. It comes with a basic 2 MP camera which takes decent shots.

Connectivity:

It comes with basic connectivity features like WAP, GPRS, EDGE and also has Bluetooth with A2DP. It has a built in Facebook application. For web browsing, it also has Opera Mini bundled. It also has a USB port to transfer data. The internal memoery of the phone is 15 MB but it supports MicroSD cards upto 8 GB.

Other Features:

The main selling point of the Micromax Q5 is its Dual GSM SIM feature. It allows you to insert and use two GSM SIM cards simultaneously. It has a 1000mAh Li-ion battery life which lasts for a day and a half with moderate usage.

All in all, the Micromax Q5fb Ezpad is a great budget QWERTY phone. It’s one of the best options if you don’t want to spend much but want a Dual SIM QWERTY phone.
